Experienced Phoenix Criminal Lawyers for the Defense

Our attorneys not only have the experience necessary to successfully defend criminal charges, they are deeply committed to serving the needs of each of their clients. Years of hard work and dedication have led to an outstanding track record of success for both Adam Feldman and Bret A. Royle.

Adam Feldman

Adam comes to the practice of law with an excellent educational background. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan, having been awarded a B.A. in psychology. From there, Adam attended the University of Miami School of Law, receiving his J.D. degree with honors.

After law school, Adam began working as a prosecutor at the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. While there, he handled a multitude of cases, from simple misdemeanors to DUI to serious violent crimes. This experience led to his employment by one of the larger criminal defense firms in Arizona. His abilities were such that he was appointed to the position of lead attorney in the firm’s criminal defense section. While employed at that firm, he honed his skills, and greatly expanded his experience, representing clients charged with DUI, murder, drug crimes, fraud, theft assault, robbery, sex crimes, white collar crimes, and more.

Adam’s next move was to form his own firm, where he became well-known not only for his trial abilities and his writing, but also for his record of successful results, including numerous dismissals and not guilty verdicts.

In 2016, Adam made the decision to join with another colleague in the criminal defense bar, Bret Royle. Together, Adam and Bret founded the firm of Feldman & Royle, where they continue to provide their clients with the quality representation their clients have come to expect.

Bret A. Royle

Bret A. Royle is a 2005 graduate of the University of Utah. After a two-year hiatus working at a government position in Salt Lake City, Bret realized that he had become interested in criminal law, at which point he began his formal legal education at the University of Miami School of Law. While attending law school, Bret held and internship with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, where he had the opportunity to view the criminal justice system outside the context of the classroom.

After graduation from law school, Bret joined an Arizona criminal defense firm, where he gained valuable experience in numerous areas of the law. He proceeded to open his own firm in 2011, where he focused on DUI and criminal defense, gaining a reputation as one of the more successful young criminal defense attorneys in the Phoenix area. Among other distinguished accolades, Bret has been listed as a Super Lawyers Rising Star, among the National Trial Lawyers: Top 100, and as one of Arizona’s Outstanding Lawyers of 2014.

Bret joined with fellow Phoenix criminal defense attorney Adam Feldman in founding their firm, Feldman & Royle, where he will continue to dedicate himself to the successful representation of clients charged with a wide array of criminal offenses.
